Athens. The city with the most glorious history in the world, a city worshipped by gods and people, a magical city. The enchanting capital of Greece has always been a birthplace for civilization. It is the city where democracy was born and most of the wise men of ancient times. The most important civilization of ancient world flourished in Athens and relives through some of the world’s most formidable edifices.

Villa Elxi, a luxurious villa situated just a short walk from Kolybitres sandy beach and the ancient Mycenaean Acropolis. The night time view is impressive, seeing hundreds of lights from the village of Naousa and Hora of Naxos, passing boats and the moon surrounded by the twinkling lights of stars.

We will explore by kayak, three distinct and beautive caves. Tham Lod Cave, Tham Pee Hua Toh and Tham Kao Wong caves. Featuring ancient cave paintings, stalagmites and stalactites that line the inner walls, and their own remarkable eco-systems.

Climb the rock formations scattered throughout Kolymbithres Beach. Sculpted into smooth shapes by the sea and the wind over centuries, these formations separate the beach into small, intimate areas. Relax on a lounge chair on the white sand or swim among schools of fish through the still, clear water.

We will visit a cookery school and learn direct from local chef-guides who know the island’s—and Greek—food inside out. Get step-by-step guidance as we make an authentic local meal and savor our finished creations accompanied by local wine.
