I have been compiling a list of the top 4 reasons NOT to do a boudoir photo shoot. Can you guess what some of them are?
#1 I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT FIRST You probably could guess this one! PLEASE don’t do this to yourself! My job as your boudoir photographer and partner in this journey, is to pose and photograph you in poses and clothing that accentuates your assets and minimizes areas you aren’t so happy with. We all have those areas we would like to minimize. This boudoir photo shoot is about so much MORE than the shape of your body, or those extra pounds you would like to shed. Part of the joy I feel in being a boudoir photographer is capturing the sparkle in your eyes, the way your face lights up when you laugh, the way you look over your shoulder and so many other mannerisms that make you uniquely you! Please don’t ever think you need to lose weight before scheduling your Body Beautiful Boudoir photo session.
#2 I DON’T KNOW HOW TO “LOOK SEXY” Since most of us aren’t looking at ourselves practicing our “sexy look”, it is not surprising that most women who come to a boudoir photo shoot have no idea how to make “that look” or how to pose for a boudoir photo shoot. Of course, it is my job as your boudoir photographer to make you feel comfortable enough and relax and laugh so that I capture your natural expressions, MANY of which WILL be sexy! You have to trust me on this!
#3 I DON’T WEAR LINGERIE Your Body Beautiful Boudoir photo shoot is a customized session for YOU! You don’t have to own lingerie or choose to wear lingerie! We have photographed clients in soccer shorts and jerseys, in a partner’s work uniform or dress shirt, in an American flag, a little black dress, a partner’s favorite blanket, in bras and panties and of course in all kinds of lingerie. The choice is yours. You can be dressed UP or dressed DOWN or not dressed at all.
#4 I SHOULDN’T SPEND MONEY ON MYSELF Whether you are considering a boudoir photo shoot as a gift to yourself, a gift for your groom-to-be or a gift for your partner, we understand that there are budgets and expenses that need to be paid.
